Installation and commissioning of the machine
1.1 After taking out the machine from the packing box, check whether the accessories are complete according to the accessories list. If there is any shortage, please contact the local distributor or company.
1.2 choose a flat and open site, install the four frame feet of the machine into the four holes of the base from bottom to top and fasten them. Ensure that the machine and support are placed smoothly.
1.3 check whether the hydraulic pump oil is sufficient, such as insufficient should be added according to the instructions of the corresponding brand of hydraulic oil.
1.4 According to the specifications of the steel pipe to be processed, replace the appropriate pressure wheel and knurling wheel, and adjust the relative position of the pressure wheel and the knurling wheel
Preparation of steel pipe
2.1 First of all, the specifications of the steel pipe to be processed should meet the scope of application of the machine.
2.2 When cutting steel pipes, the end face of the steel pipe should be perpendicular to the axis of the steel pipe and ensure smooth end face.
2.3 If the welded steel pipe is processed, the inner and outer surfaces contacted by the knurling wheel shall be ground flat. Otherwise, when the groove is rolled, the steel pipe will vibrate and even affect the groove size.
2.4 All rough oxide layer and dirt on the inner and outer surfaces of the pipe end should be cleaned up, otherwise it will easily cause the knurling wheel to wear and shorten the service life of the machine.
2.5 steel pipe length requirements
For example, the maximum length of the machined steel pipe can reach 12 meters. When the length of the pipe section is 1 meter to 6 meters, one bracket is required, and when the length of the pipe section is greater than 6 meters, two brackets are required. When the length of the pipe section is less than 0.9 m, the groove can be rolled without support depending on the actual situation (but it must be noted that after the grooving is completed and the machine is stopped, the steel pipe should be held by hand before the pressure wheel leaves the surface of the steel pipe to prevent the steel pipe from falling).
